Customer Service Technician – Melbourne

You will be a customer-focused and energetic engineer, who wants to provide quality customer service, no matter the opportunity. You will be willing to pick up the phone for routine support calls, proactively picking up jobs from the queue, as well as getting involved in more complex tasks, which require planning. There will be onsite work with direct customer contact, as well a need for flexible working hours to support round the clock activities.

YOUR DUTIES
  • Maintain and support “business as usual” ICT technologies
  • Effectively supporting popular Windows desktop environments
  • Provide support of common network devices (routers, switches, WiFi devices, firewalls).
  • Show our clients what value they can achieve from technology and be proud of how you can help
  • Provide excellent support through a warm and professional manner
  • Provide reliable technical escalation to your peers and support junior staff
  • Proactively implement cyber-security threat protection best practices and mitigation strategies.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You will be required to meet SFIA level 3 Standards based upon Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) with a minimum of 4+ years’ experience.

We require the successful applicant to demonstrate the following:

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to quickly adopt and adapt to new products, tools and concepts.
  • The ability to work with Senior Technicians to formulate collaborative solutions to complex issues.
  • Familiarity with common remote support and service management toolsets.

THE PROCESS

You will be required to undertake a technical test to demonstrate the skills required.
